TITLE: The Death of Heracles

Based upon the historical accounts of the Greek Mythology, Heracles was the thorn in the heel of Hera. He battled on and had 12 incredible feats including battling the Hydra. However, the Death of Heracles was the epitome of Greek Tragedy. After a centaur attempted to assault his wife, he shot the centaur with a poisoned arrow. However, the centaur tricked his wife, saying he had been bested and his blood would make Heracles faithful forever. She dipped his clothes in the blood. When his squire, Lichas brought him his clothing, he burned from the poison and flung Lichas into the sea. Finally, succumbing to the final act.
