TITLE: Under the eyes that few minutes exhist
Under the eyes that few minutes exhaust
— the wind —
— tears make weigh shadows —
under the eyes that few minutes wear out.
The time, the wind makes the images unfold in a dreamlike space-time, at the edge of the sleep.
This picture are a short selection from a long term project (2009 – Today)
The images impress and vanish into the retina.
As echos, persistences of vision, memory relics, the images are disappearing, they are not any more
completely images of the reality. They still keep in them still - a little - of time. No more completely fixed
images, - almost - sequences, they overflow their frame. They carry in them the moment which precedes and
the moment which succeeds, the elusive moment - runaway image-.
The title, resolutely poetic, introduces us into a dreamlike universe. As a visual poem, it is composed by
poetic motives which are dear to me: the dazzle, the night, huge trees, women with long hair as self-portraits,
sleepers who open to an imaginary space, love - embraces, kisses - friendship, and solitude also.
