TITLE: Curved-Concrete
The Curved-Concrete series highlights curves in modern Brazilian architectural projects. The term "Curved" alludes to the perhaps most notable signature in Oscar Niemeyer's projects. The closed angles images seek to convey an abstract idea, favoring simplicity. However, the ambiguous name "Concrete", in contrast to the Abstract, becomes more appropriate, as the term reinforces the striking presence of this renowned architect and refers to the main brand of the modernist movement: the apparent constructive material that often abdicates from finishing.
