TITLE: Masaii kids
Last summer I traveled to Tanzania and there I was able to realize a reality very different from the one that surrounds us daily. I saw people with a hard gesture on their faces, faces sculpted by the rough work. But I could also observe people who are satisfied with what they have had to live. Africa gives us lessons day after day. This is my particular tribute to all of them.
AUTHOR: Mª Inmaculada González Rodríguez (Spain)
Inmaculada González – 1964, is a Spanish photographer. She graduated from the University of Seville, Spain, with a Bachelor´s degree in Fine Arts.
For the last years she has been travelling around the world and finding interesting subjects to shoot.
Inmaculada started her artistic roots as a young woman. She concentrated on photography years after as a refuge from some personal grief.
The main goal for Inmaculada as a photographer is to show people the places she has visited.
Her passion for travel and photography have come together to create DEFOCUSING, her first project of blurring images shot in the North of Africa. High quality digital equipment is now emerging and it helps to show the wonders of Planet Earth, and it drives her to explore many remote and unique places allowing her to capture amazing images.
Throughout much of her entire life, she has been actively seeking ways to learn from different cultures. Taking photos has become an excellent way to make her life more intense, varied and rich.
According to Inmaculada, the images need to tell stories. Photos do the talking.
Through her photography she hopes to show new points of view and above all to express respect to Nature.
Inmaculada loves living!
