TITLE: Father and son
This photo of a father gorilla with his son was taken in Bwindi impenetrable forest in Uganda. Looking into the eyes of our distant cousin the mountain gorilla is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Although they are now increasing in numbers for the first time they are still critically endangered. There are aproximately 900 individuals left. The conservationists in Uganda and Rwanda are doing a great job in supporting them through research and poaching prevention, where tourism plays a big part.
