I shot this picture during summer time, and waited before sunset. Then there is the little gap in between two skyscraper buildings, and they created the perfect shadow on a vintage building and the shape looked like a brushstroke. I used very small aperture to let shadow area super dark and show more light part.

I am a fine art photographer, based in New York, NY USA — I shoot with film and digital cameras. The darkroom is my own world to develop film and create silver gelatin prints.
My work focuses on capturing a moment in time; whether it's portraits, creating soul, or simply enjoying the perfect light. Always experimenting with new techniques, I'm equally comfortable with analog and digital technologies, and use both according to the needs of the project.
