TITLE: Iceland
Beautiful natural light is critical when creating color landscape photographs. On my recent trip to Iceland, clouds, wind and rain were my constant companion so focusing on shapes, lines, texture and patterns in my compositions was more important than ever. I worked the landscape as best I could, then on my last night, I was rewarded with an amazing display of northern lights.
AUTHOR: David DesRochers (United States)
My passion for nature photography was sparked by a trip to Glacier National Park in the summer of 2000. Since then, my wife Cathy and I have traveled the world to witness and photograph the wonders of nature.
I am a member of the North American Nature Photography Association and I’ve written several articles for Nature Photographer Magazine. I present photography programs at photo events and teach photography for The New Jersey Audubon Society.
In 2014, I was awarded the New Jersey Federation of Camera Clubs Citation, the highest individual honor bestowed by the Federation. My images are represented by Animals Animals Earth Scenes, a rights managed stock photography agency with over one million images; encompassing all things nature, and my photos have been published in books and magazines.
