TITLE: What Else
For the “What Else “ series I take 3-D plant forms and create 2-D images documenting the motion of the subject in “long moments” on light-sensitive equipment, each one being a single-pass one-of-a-kind operation. Why? Because plants are highly mutable subjects, capable of yielding exciting never-before-seen imaginary forms, which I like to record and fix in time.
Minor White famously said: “One should photograph objects, not only for what they are but for what else they are.”
