Hornstrandir Nature Reserve is a remote and extremely beautiful area within the West Fjords of Iceland. This photo was taken on the last night of a multi-day hike through the reserve, as the day was drawing to a close.

Jesse Harrison (born 1984) is a Finnish-Canadian artist specialising in landscape photography, image manipulation and video. To date, much of his work has been connected to his lasting interest in nature exploration and mountaineering, activities he has pursued in locations including Scotland, Iceland, Austria and South Korea.
