Storm Clearing Over Bridaveil
Shot with a Canon 5D MII using a 50 mm 1.8 at F20 for 2.5 seconds. I started off this day prior to sunrise with the intention of catching dramatic cloud cover and to capture the snow flurries as it laid a new, fresh blanket of snow in Yosemite Valley. This day was one of the most incredible days I ever experienced in the Park. Between the snow flurries and the low clouds that flowed through the valley, I had moments of the sun shinning through bringing the most beautiful light in which to photograph. I set up to capture a large panoramic image of the the falls and the adjacent snow covered cliffs. Knowing when the time was right I had to act swiftly. I waited for just the right moment when the light would highlight the Falls and the snow covered cliffs. When the moment I was waiting for arrived I captured 5 images using a panoramic technique that I use. I used Photoshop to merge the images and final edit in Silver Effects Pro.
