TITLE: Walls of the Red Monastery
The study focuses on the fascinating walls of the monastery complex in Slovakia called the Red Monastery. Old walls are a specific testimony to many centuries of monastery history dating back to the 14th century. The monastery had a turbulent history: robbery assault, owners changes, fires, remodeling and repairs. Monks who once lived in the monastery led a hermit life and struggled to prescribe the books. They were also masters of herbal medicine and the legends say that one of them has built a flying machine. Looking at the ruined walls of this monastery you can feel the unusual atmosphere of unique historic place.
