TITLE: Echoes

The Echoes series is a semi-abstract architectural series based on architectural photographs. It is all about creating mood and emotions. Ultimately, it is about the emptiness that comes with the loss of loved ones and the comfort we can find in memories. To quote Jon Anderson: As autumn falls, we'll both remember all those many years.

The original series is comprised of 12 photographs which are almost monochrome with a subtle split toning effect. Since this kind of processing is not explicitly allowed in this contest, I created a special edition of the images with a subtle sepia toning.
