TITLE: The young captive
Strange encounter in a street of Paris: an impressive cellar window situated in ground floor of a disused building, covered of a sinister bar protection … from which the form protects only the bottom of the window …
This aggressive metal part intrigued me at first for its resemblance with a lower jaw of a big shark. Thus I photographed this window for the image which it evoked to me.
Much later, while discovering the photo of a woman to the veiled face the photo of the cellar window went back up in my spirit. This beautiful look, marked by sensibility and wisdom, I imagined it at once prisoner of my redoubtable cellar window
