TITLE: Anthropomorphism

We can, after reflection, say that the landscape plays a medium role in relation to the immensity of the natural world, and that it makes possible fruitful contact with dimensions beyond us. The landscape depicts a "balance between the individual and the whole". Thus romanticism considers that man is confused with nature and lives through it. In the same way my series emphasizes the anthropomorphism of a landscape by designating the intimate relationships that man can maintain with a landscape. The way we physically couple man and nature reminds us that we are born of mother nature and that we form an indivisible whole. It is thus that this series of black and white photomontages strive to translate the non-visible aspects of the realities among which we evolve.
