This project explores our fears and boundries of our perception. We fear what we do not understand, becouse it's saver to fear the unknown than to take a risk. Woods always have some misteries in them. You can get used to darkness, you can get used to light, but can you accept light which shoud not be there?

Krzysztof (Eng. Christopher) Ślachciak, born in 1983, Poznań, Poland. Artist Photographer, member of The Association of Polish Art Photographers. He graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań with masters degree in Korean Studies and on Poznań University of Economics he did postgraduate studies in field of Business to Business Marketing with thesis on advertising photography. Since 2008 he runs his own commercial photography studio. Since 2011 until 2016, at the invitation of profesor Włodzimierz Włoszkiewicz, he conducted practical lessons of photography and lectures of composition for the Architecture Department's students at the Poznań University of Technology. Since 2013 he had run photography section of the Artistic Science Club. Currently, with Tomasz Jędrzejewski, he runs private art school "Creative Squad" with cooperation of Culture Center ESTEDE in Gniezno.
Until now he has shown his works during more than twenty five collective and indyvidual exhibitions as well as other artistic events. He is a finalist of photography section at italian "2015 Ariano International Film Festival", and paticipant of 2015 "SeeMe Exposure Awards" digital exhibition held in Louvre Museum in Paris. June 2016 he has won 2nd Prize in II Fine Art Photography Awards for his Mimesis series.
