TITLE: Moai, the great mystery of the Easter Island.
The great mystery of the Easter Island, a small, lonely island (only 160 km²) in the Pacific are the Maoi. It is calculated that there were almost 1000 of these 3-9 meter high stone sculptures on the Easter Island. There are many theories about how and why the Moai were created and how they were transported from the quarry to the coasts. There they were placed on the ahus (stone platforms) always with their backs to the sea.
Since there are no written or oral traditions, theories remain.
To visualize this mystery of the Moai, I have alienated the backgrounds.
