TITLE: Christ at Kumbh Mela
Kumbh Mela, Haridwar, India
A Sadhu (holy indian man) in the gesture of rolling up the hair on his head, hitting my attention for an particular resemblance to Christ in Cross.
The Kumbh Mela, is a mass Hindu pilgrimage, a spiritual festival, considered to be the world's largest religious gathering. Is the largest number of human beings assemble with a common purpose in the Guiness Book of World Records .
The pilgrimage occurs four times every twelve years, when the planet Jupiter enters Aquarius and the Sun enters Aries. Each twelve-year cycle includes the Maha (great) Kumbha Mela, this time in Haridwar.
According the Hindu religion, souls are reborn after death in a continuous cycle know as Karma, the liberation of this cycle is called Moksha. Pilgrims arrive from all over india to take blessings from these holy men and takes bath in the Ganges.
