TITLE: Huddled in the Wind
Travelling back home from a Sunday drive on a windy, late spring day, I saw these horses in my rear view mirror and decided to stop and capture a few photos. The horses were standing in a circle until they heard something coming down the road and the two horses on the left, turned to look at what was coming. This is one of my favorite shots.

Richard Collens is a lifelong photographer, with a desire for adventure, road trips and finding the beauty in nature and in otherwise mundane surroundings. Although Richard has had a camera in his hand all of this life, he really started taking things seriously later in life, focusing more on the quality and artistry of his photographs. Although colour provides so much, Richard is drawn to the real beauty of black and white contrasts, looking for more powerful images without colour, where he truly succeeds.
