This sweet bird and I spent a lazy morning at the shore together. Dancing between waves and sand, this little creature stopped for a split second and seemed to pose for me. This shot captured that moment.

My husband gave me a camera for my birthday when I turned 40, recently. And in an instant, an old passion was given new life, inspiration, and space for creative growth. I take my camera out with me everyday, and it's quickly become like a form of meditation.
