TITLE: In BLuR
The series features self-portraits in various locations around New York City. The photographs are deliberately blurred to emphasize the feeling of the struggle amid the overwhelming noise and confusion.
The blurred face in each photograph serves as a metaphor for the blurred lines between self and environment, individual and collective, and the internal and external chaos one experiences in such a dynamic and demanding environment.
Through this project, the artist hopes to spark a dialogue about mental health, self-discovery, and the human experience of navigating through life's uncertainties. By sharing this introspective visual narrative, they aim to inspire empathy, understanding, and meaningful conversations about the complexities of the human psyche and the universal quest for purpose, and inner peace amidst the noise and confusion of modern life.
