AUTHOR: Jean-Christophe BEAUVAIS (Argentina)
My name is Jean-Christophe Beauvais, French by birth and a lifelong citizen of the world.
As a passionate photographer and storyteller, I have written collections of poetry and short stories in Spanish as well as novels in my mother tongue.
I grew up in Paris, and after finishing my studies in Rouen (Normandy), I started working abroad, some time in Asia at first (Indonesia, Hong Kong) and then in Latin America, a passion that still lasts, after a first South American stay whose objective was to descend the Amazon River from its source, an unforgettable experience.
I lived and worked in countries as diverse as Brazil, Chile, Mexico, the United States or Argentina, my current place of residence.
Trained very young on Zenith and Pentax SLRs, I exercised my passion for graphic arts and literature on the sidelines of my managerial responsibilities in the Luxury Industry.
Through all these experiences, I have always had many stories and anecdotes to tell...
And little by little, I came to discover that photography was not my childhood hobby but the graphic perspective I needed to tell a story, my story, my stories, without resorting to my literary production.
Landscapes, architecture, nature, street photography, time-exposure, I practiced a lot in each discipline, always curious about new experiences and learning new techniques.
