TITLE: The first battle - Women as the figure on the graves

This series was created on 24.02.2022 First day of Russian attack. First shoot we took at 12:09. We were all scared that day because we didn't know what would happen next. The background music for this session was Aggressive Viking Battle Music from the movie Vikings. We worked for hours in the silence and darkness of the basement. The resulting portraits are a picture of my feelings and the bond, which we felt during the work. These feeling were from the verge of the life and the death and uncertainty. The associations which I had were voodoo shamans, warriors in battle, and women turning into grave statues standing on the graves of their loved ones.

It is a story about love, suffering, longing and the desire for revenge.
