Drought and the always present trade winds characterize the Canary Islands. Erosion of the landscape is a constantly present phenomenon. Some regions of the island amaze us with their bizarre, nearly unreal landscapes that leave room for human imagination. The visitor believes he has actually stepped on another planet.
