TITLE: Tibetan macaque Prisoner
Not guilty, yet incarcerated for life. This Tibetan macaque (Macaca thibetana) will never experience the world outside of these bars at a facility in China. Life lived in these austere cages does not provide any chance for enrichment and as a result many animals at this facility were obviously depressed.
