TITLE: Perfect dissimilarity
This series of pictures were taken in a very meaningful moment of my career and life. It was at the time where I went to study abroad two years ago. It was a very special time for me, due to my personal growth and connections. As wonderful as it was at the end, it was also very hard for me at the beginning. I was homesick and surrounded by very different cultures and people that weren't normally part of my surroundings when in Spain, I had quite a hard time adapting to my new home and my new surroundings. This series depict the perfect dissimilarity of two of my best friends during the journey, that dissimilarity that at first stroke me as nerve-racking and challenging, was one of the best things that could have ever happened to me. I embraced it with all my heart at the end, making friendships that will stay with me forever. Despite our differences, I have never felt such at ease and close with these people, they've taught me so much in so little time, they were part of my small family in the UK. These images were taken at the end of my journey, where I was about to say goodbye to these enormous experience of personal and academic growth, to move on with my purpose in life, and carry on studying, but most of all when I was going to say goodbye to them.
