TITLE: Chilled
This series stemmed from the second image in this submission. I found I was drawn into the ethereal stillness look of the reflecting light in the foreground that mirrored the sky. For the series I combined that formation where I could, along with the use of long exposures. I used the rock formations to compose, without trying to necessarily centre rocks perfectly in each image and left in any imperfections to give that raw element a seascape should have.

I simply try to incorporate a minimalist approach that values a calm aesthetic of the landscape through the projects I work on. While my inspiration derives from many artists, I feel it is paramount for an artist to aspire to a mere scrambling of those inspirations in order to create their own unique path. It is your own personal journey. A journey that I've found profoundly humbling and though challenging, ultimately provokes an artistic drive, energy and fulfilment within me to accomplish future works.
