TITLE: Essential
These photographs are part of a project named Essential. In it, my intention is to reflect the nature of an almost magical, dreamlike point of view. As the title says, remove any unnecessary or superfluous information giving a minimalist and poetic result.
I try to find the rhythm among the few elements that can contain the image to achieve that dream goal. To form this idea, I knew that the tools used were fundamental and so I decided to make it in film, the small grain of the film emulates that of a beautiful watercolor. Each photograph tells its own story, they are made to be contemplated, so that each person feels something different and wants to be in that place.
Now that I have gotten used to the work process, I know and adapt the places I photograph I am able to create a collage with the elements I want to appear in the composition, I like them to be clean and schematic. Knowing the medium allows you to anticipate and get better results.
I also wanted to base myself on the thought that the art of Japanese culture has and as this has a great sense of reflection and interrelation between man and nature. Most of its plastic arts are focused on looking for beauty from the most everyday to the most ornamental, to be present with what surrounds you, value it and enjoy it.

SPAIN
I was born In Barcelona in 1998 and I had always loved photography. When i finished secondary education i graduated as a lightning, capture and image treatment technician.
When I started photographing in film thanks to steal my boyfriend's Praktica, that’s when I defined a style, found what I really like and discovered references as Masao Yamamoto, Michael Kenna, Léonard Misonne... I have never enjoyed photographing and learning so much before.
My photographs focus on minimalism, nature and the dreamlike, eliminate unnecessary and superfluous elements, and as a result, create my personal visual diary of what attracts me. I feel comfortable in nature, in peace, I don’t mind the noise, the smell, the people and that makes me be more present.
I like the process to be artisanal and careful, without haste. Enjoying creating each step makes it more unique and personal.
The experiences you’ve had, the people you know, the music you listen to, your favorite movie, or anything that might impact you, whether positive or negative, affect your life, both on a personal level and when photographing.
I want to try other techniques, see which photographs I will take this year, and within five; travel and be able to learn, to evolve, meet people and places.
