The hollow beach break and fast tubes make La Graviere (France) to be one of the best and most famous surf spots in Europe. During the 2019 World Surf League championship, the remnants of Lorenzo hurricane - Category 5 system and the easternmost hurricane ever measured at this strength in the Atlantic Ocean- were strong, although soon they would track quickly through France's swell window. Waves those days were heavy, disordered and at times seemed to be a maze for the competitors whenever they tried to surf them.
