"From the very first moment when the human being walked on this planet, our steps have been guided by emotions.
Love and Fear are our two primary emotions. The parental Love nourishes us and ensures our survival. Fear is the way we perceive the lack of Love, the risk to lose the Love. These two emotions are entangled creating a Polarity. The less Love we get, the more sharply we will feel the Fear. We cling to Love, we reject Fear.......The method is simple and nevertheless profound. The model sequences the six emotions and focuses on diving into it using memories, pictures or feelings. They aren’t requested to play a role, just to look towards the camera now and then, and hence to reveal their innermost feelings.
Communication and empathy have been crucial in this project".

Ibrahima is leaving in Madrid, he's married and he has a son. Ibrahim left Senegal to the Canary Islands, one thousand miles across open ocean, 14 years ago.

Self-taught photographer, Jaime Díaz was born in Guadalajara (Spain). He has a degree in piano, which provides his bread and butter.
Jaime shares his time between Madrid and Vietnam, where he is undertaking several projects about documentary, people and travel photography.
