TITLE: "O' Father"
A boy grows up looking to his Dad for direction. Now I have my own boy it’s made me look closer at my Dad. What were his dreams, fears and ideas for how life would turn out? I think we sometimes forget we share the same hopes and dreams as the people that brought us here. To quote a cultural poet. “Old man, take a look at my life, I’m a lot like you were”.
AUTHOR: Will Hartl (Australia)
Lately life has been the search for deeper meaning, a personal connection and a greater purpose. Becoming a father for the first time has opened my eyes to the venerability and dreams of my own father.
Photography gives me the medium to express what I see and how I feel, especially during this rite of passage.
