TITLE: Imagine Colours
"Imagine colours" is an homage to the disappearing world of monochrome dreams.
According to some research children nowadays dream mostly in colour. But it might be the childhood exposure to black-and-white photography, movies and television, that made the world dream for almost a century in black and white. Many, i am one of them, dream in shades of grey, feeling that given colours limit my phantasy and the monochrome images open spaces for imagination.
The other theme of this series is the fact that all we experience, not just colours and dreams, happens in our mind. Our vision and our mental imagery are constructed inside our heads, we create both our realities and (day)dreams with our brains. So it is also an homage to all the imaginary movies in our heads - to the longings, moods, hopes, nightmares, to the others we imagine watching and judging us out there, to the magic, to our animal souls and to all the imaginary loves.
