Umberto Verdoliva was born in Castellammare di Stabia (Naples) in 1961 and he is close to photography in 2006. The street photography has become his main field of research and activity Immediately. In 2008 he becomes a member of the FIAF and in 2010 joins the international "ViVo" collective.
He is the founder and co-ordinator of Italian collective "SPONTANEA" dedicated to street photography born in 2013. He faces street photography with creativity and perseverance, presenting it often in series or thematic projects, he has a careful and sensitive eye that shows the irony and poetry of the ordinary days.
