TITLE: 100 Days of Protests
The first 100 days since the inauguration of President Trump saw an unprecedented level of public outcry and some of the largest protests since the Civil Rights and Vietnam war eras. Each week during the first 100 days, hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets all across the United States in anger and frustration over new policies, protested and demanded changes. Millions of Americans are angry and they are fighting back in solidarity. From day 1 to day 100 after inauguration, photographer Stefan Immler documented the protests in his home town Washington, D.C. by taking thousands of photos on black & white film. The photo series represents 100 days of protest and captures America’s strong reaction and disapproval on Donald Trump’s views on topics such as women’s rights, health care, education, refugee and immigration regulations, taxes, climate change, science, among others, and his disregard for facts and financial conflicts of interest.
